Election 2016: District 4 incumbent Supervisor Jane Parker toasts early lead

"Incumbent Jane Parker gave a toast Tuesday night after early election results showed the Monterey County District 4 supervisor leading by nearly 20 percentage points, but she emphasized to her supporters that it’s still early.
“We see some good results, a nice trend, and we’re going to wait for further results, but it’s been the volunteers who really made this campaign,” she told the crowd gathered at the Press Club in Seaside.
