 We did it! Thanks to your generous support and the tireless work of many, many volunteers, the voters have re-elected me to serve Monterey County for four more years!

​I am so grateful that the voters responded so strongly and clearly to my record and message of working together on the issues that affect our lives everyday: good local jobs; public safety; housing that is affordable for working people; effectiveness of county government; growth and development that enhances economic vitality while protecting our natural resources for future generations. Together, we have made much progress and there is still a great deal to be accomplished. 

I pledge to continue to hold your interests first, be fiscally responsible with the public’s funds, and keep special interests accountable.
